Fender Squire Bullet

This is the first guitar i've ever owned.  It was made in the early 80s and has a really nice neck for playing.  The action is nice and low, and it is equipped with a "hot rails" pickup in the bridge position as well as the neck, so it doesn't much like a strat.  It's more heavy and thick, in a really good way.  This guitar is great for grungy and heavy sounds, and some interesting bluesy tones when combined with the tele-like pickup in the mid position.  Not to mention is has my custom paint job. ;)

You can hear this specifically on the covers "is she weird", "we could be so happy (if we wanted to be) and "we are the dead".

Ibanez SR305 Soundgear 5-String Bass Guitar Moon Shadow

My only bass.  It has active pickups and is capable of many different sounds.  It's grind can be heard on my first album and my coversongs.  The action is fairly low and playing is smooth.  Not being primarily a bassist, i have found this to be the only bass i need at the moment.

Univox Les Paul

I have played a real gibson, and an epiphone copy, and for some reason i tend to like this guitar better than the real thing!  My uncle found it in his attic and one day offered it to me.  After some polish and some solder, it was actually working!  For a while the bridge pickup didn't work right, for some reason i had to play extra hard for a minute for the pickup to turn on, but after some more fixing, that issue went away.  This guitar is the only electric used on my first album, and is all over my coversongs.  It is great for a thicker metal sound, and for lead.  Very thick sound.

Line 6 Variax 600

This guitar is pretty revolutionary.  Basically, it has a strat type of feel to it, stays in tune well, nice whammy bar, and happens to emulate about 20 something different guitars.

The sounds are extremely convincing, with the exception of the 12 string models, which use a not-so-good pitch shifting algorithm to attempt a 12 string sound.  Anything from a telecaster to a banjo, sounds quite convincing.  I can't say enough about this guitar, you might as well check out the information at the line 6 website:

Bean Blossom Acoustic/Electric Guitar

This fiery beast is your standard, decent acoustic electric.  Nothing much special here, and it has a bright sound full of harmonics.  Great for backing acoustic tracks!  You can hear this on the first CD of my coversongs, especially on songs like "girl from the north country" and "ruiner".

Alvarez Acoustic

This was given to me by a fan of my music (thanks heather!!!) to enhance my sound.  It is plain looking, but the bottom end of this guitar is strong, and full.  The action is great, and its awesome to play.  I received this guitar after my first cover CD so you can hear it beginning with my second cover CD.  This is my go-to acoustic guitar especially for tracks where acoustic is the only accompaniment.

Evolution MK-425C

This is a neat little keyboard for previewing sounds and playing beats.  It has some knobs and buttons on it, which are usually mapped to the transport functions on REAPER. It also has a pedal attached to the sustain jack which controls recording take after take, so the performer can take the reigns when it comes to playing new takes!!!  Great little keyboard.

M-Audio Keystation Pro-88

Not being a keyboardist myself, i wasn't going to spend two grand on the top of the line keyboard, just to use as a midi controller.  I found the reviews on this unit to be favorable, and loved it as soon as i got it.  The action is really nice, and after a professional pianist client of mine tried it, he fell in love with it and bought one himself.  Not to mention it has 2 sustain jacks and only needs a simple usb connection.
