Anniversary

written october 29th, 2006.  one year later.

my heart stopped october sixth

but the white winds of borealis

recieved my life three weeks later

now one year later

having acquired my full circle

I trudge through the backbone of relation

falsehood friends, black in deception

offer me sustainence and accuse me wrong

i shrug them off like a chill

and so i face my life like i face the cold

facefront and eyes forward --

in the intrest of a nomad's survival

in the words of a man so bold

to show an innocent thought of affection

about a week before the fifth of november

remember, remember --

this night forever.

you brought me back, my countenance reformed

my eyes enlivened, spheres of explosion focused

on the cloud-silver future of your insanity

assimilate me as your commodity

I have beaten off the ghosts of my past

from my dusty closet of wraiths...

once held dear, are no longer here

so what will i remember this preface to november?

a namesake song and a friendship built for years

finally in silence, coming together.

my heart stopped october sixth.
